Issue:

You want to add specials to your SAGE Website

Solution:

The Steps:

1.  Open your web browser and go to http://www.sagemember.com.   Enter your company ID and your password (your initial password is the same as your SAGE Workplace Windows app password. If you do not have a SAGE Workplace Windows app account, email us for your SAGEmember password).  After filling in the login information, click "Login".

2.  Click on Website | Settings | then on the "Specials" button.

3.  Click "Add New Special" (or "Edit" to edit a current special).

4.  Fill in the various fields (see description below).

5.  Click "Save Special", "Exit Specials Setup", then "Exit & Logout".

The Fields:

Title- Title of the Special (ex. 10% Off Bic Stic Pens!)

Description- The text you want to appear next to, or the below the special.

Current Picture- Shows the current picture if one exists. To erase the current picture, click the box next to "Erase Current Picture" (it is not necessary to erase the current picture before uploading a new picture).

New Picture- The Browse button will let you select a jpg or gif image on your hard drive to be displayed along with the special, or you can type the path to the picture manually. To use the browse feature, click "Browse". On the "File Upload" screen where it says "Files of type" select All Files. Browse to the image file and double-click on it (the image must be <100KB).

Picture Position- Allows you to select the position of the picture (in relation to the title and description).

Link Title/Link Address- Allows you to have the special link to another web page. The "Link Title" is the what the user sees on the specials page and what they click to go to the other page (ex. Bic's Official Web Site). The Link Address is the actual address of the web site you are linking to (ex. http://www.bicpromo.com).

Open Link in- The new web page can open in a new window, the current frame, or the current window. If you are unsure which one to choose, you might want to try each one to see which option gives you the desired effect.

Sort Order- Used to change the order of the specials on the page. If left blank, the specials will be in the order they where entered.  If you add a new special when you already have specials listed, it will default to the last position. You can make it  first by entering a 1 in the sort order field.
