Issue:

A customer gave me an "Item Number" from my web site.  How do I find out the supplier's information?

1.  Enter the number in the SPC field on the Product Search screen of your SAGE Workplace Windows app, SAGE Workplace mobile app, or SAGE Workplace web app and click Start Search.

2.  Click on the item's description in the Product Match List.

3.  Click the Supplier Info button at the bottom of the Product Detail Page.

Backup Solution:
(If you do not have access to any SAGE Research Services)

1.  Enter the number in the Item Number field on your PromoSearch and click Search.

2.  Click on the item's link or picture.

3.  Click More Info.

4.  Click Add to Cart.

5.  Click Check Out.

6.  Fill in the cart information then click Send Cart.

7.  The supplier information is included with cart.

More Information:

On the web site the "Item Number" is actually your personal SPC.  The PromoSearch uses this encrypted item number so that your site visitors cannot see the actual item number.  Encourage your customers to send you requests using the shopping cart system.  This will help avoid errors transferring the codes.
