Issue:

This article describes the process for suppliers to add the SAGE "Rate Us Now" logo and link to your Outlook email signatures or website.

Solution:

Creating an email signature in Outlook.


Copy the Rate Us Now logo to your Windows clipboard


1. Go to www.sagemember.com, and login with your Login ID and Password (passwords can be reset through the login screen or contact your dedicated account rep at 800.925.SAGE (7243) if you do not have your Login ID)

2. Click on "Account" on the left-hand menu

3. Click on “SAGE Supplier Logos” in the sub-menu

4. Right-click the "Rate Us Now" logo, then select Copy Image from the context menu


Verify you are using HTML as the message type


1. Open Outlook, then click File|Options|Mail

2. In the "Compose messages" section, "Compose in this message format" setting should be set to HTML.


If you are creating a new signature:

1. In the "Signatures" section, click "Signatures", then click "New"

2. Enter a name for the new signature, then click OK

3. Right-Click in the rich text box, and from the Paste Options in the context menu select “Keep Source Formatting”.  You now see the Rate Us Now Logo in the box.

4. Select the logo, click “Insert Hyperlink” and adding https://www.sagemember.com/SuppRate?S=XXXXX to the address (where XXXXX is your 5-digit SAGE Number)

5. Click OK to add the link to the image and OK again to save your new signature


If you wish to modify an existing signature:


1. In the "Signatures" section, click "Signatures"

2. Select the existing signature you wish to modify

3. Right-Click in the rich text box (place your mouse after your existing text/graphics), and from the Paste Options in the context menu select “Keep Source Formatting”.  You now see the Rate Us Now Logo in the box

4. Click OK to save your modified signature


Adding a Rate Us Now link on our website.


Note: These steps need to be completed by the person who maintains your website.

Save a copy of Rate Us Now logo.

2. Click on "Account" on the left-hand menu

3. Click on “SAGE Supplier Logos” in the sub-menu

4. Right-click the "Rate Us Now" logo, then select Copy Image from the context menu

Create the link.


1. Upload the logo to your images directory on your site.

2. Modify the page where you wish to display the logo, adding image and linking to https://www.sagemember.com/SuppRate?S=XXXXX (where XXXXX is your 5-digit SAGE Number)

More Information:

When composing a message in Outlook, any links in the message will not be active (i.e. when you are writing the message, if you click on the Rate Us Now logo, nothing will happen).   This is normal, and when you send the message (you can send it to yourself to test) the recipient will be able to click on the logo.
