Distributors may submit several types of order forms directly through SAGE Workplace Windows app, including Sample Orders, Request for Quotes, Purchase Orders, and Catalog Requests. These forms are then easily tracked and managed via the built-in Order Management tool.
Receiving orders from SAGE subscribers requires only minimal setup. To make the most of SAGE Order Management, follow the steps outlined below. Some of these steps assume you have already become a SAGE Advantage Member and installed the SAGE Supplier Center Software. If you are not currently a SAGE Advantage Member, contact your account rep at 800.925.7243. If you need to install SAGE Supplier Center, see How to Access SAGE Supplier Center.
Setup Delivery Options
Orders are delivered to suppliers via email with a pdf attachment. You may configure what address(es) receive these emails. If artwork is attached, a link will be provided in the body of the email and in the pdf to download the file.
1. Open SAGE Supplier Center and click on Supplier Profile and Catalog (if you are not already logged in you will be prompted to enter your Login ID and Password)
2. Click on the "Contacts" tab.
3. At the bottom of the page, click Edit and fill in the fields for each type of Order Form under Email delivery addresses.
Note: if you want all types to go to one address, you may put the same address in each box. If this section is left blank, the Main Contact email will be used. If you would like forms that contain artwork to be copied to another address for artwork, click the box next to "CC art contact..." then be sure to fill in the email address for artwork on the Artwork tab).
Note: Be sure to add mail@sageorders.com to the trusted sender's list on each computer that will be receiving order emails from SAGE to prevent orders from going into your Junk Mail folder.
Picking Up Art and other File Attachments
All artwork and other file attachments that the distributor attached to the order may be downloaded through the link provided in the PDF or email body.
1. Click the link provided in the body of the email or the PDF to download the artwork.
2. Save the file on your computer.
Note: If you wish to have or art contact automatically copied when an order contains a file link, be sure to select that option and provide your artwork email address (see Step 3 above).
Tracking Information Provided to Distributors
Through SAGE Workplace Windows app distributors will see a history for each order with tracking information. We currently track the following information automatically.
1. Order successfully delivered to the receiving email server.
2. Email viewed by the recipient.
3. Artwork downloaded by recipient.
Viewing a History of Orders
You may view past orders using Order History in the SAGE Supplier Center.
1. Click Order History from the SAGE Supplier Center main menu.
2. Select a date range you would like to view and click Go.
3. Double-click the order you would like to view.
