Issue:

If you are using our email servers, we highly recommend using our DNS to host the domain.  If you are not using our DNS, then you will need to configure these settings with your DNS provider.

Solution:

In order for your mail to be delivered properly, be sure to add an SPF and DMARC record for the domain as follows:

1: MX

@       IN  MX  5  smtp-gw.qti.com.

2: SPF

@       IN  TXT "v=spf1 mx a ip4:208.215.218.0/23 -all"

3:  DMARC record:

_dmarc       IN  TXT "v=DMARC1;p=reject;"

4: CNAME records

mdmail1._domainkey   IN  CNAME       mdmail1._domainkey.promoplace.com.

mdmail2._domainkey   IN  CNAME       mdmail2._domainkey.promoplace.com.

mdmail3._domainkey   IN  CNAME       mdmail3._domainkey.promoplace.com.

mdmail4._domainkey   IN  CNAME       mdmail4._domainkey.promoplace.com.

You must add all of the above records to the DNS hosting the domain name.  Otherwise, you will have mail delivery issues.

If you are also using a SAGE website, you will also need to add A records for the website.
